Spring deer sign on slate: $25

I found a photo of a fawn in a magazine and thought it would be a nice painting. However, the painting might not be completely true to life. According to a few websites, fawns are born in late May and June. That would make them more of a late spring or early summer arrival. The pink flowers are modeled after red buds which bloom in April.
